Vehicle Painter
Location: Algarve, Portugal | Position: Full-Time
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Painter to join the team at Auto Ruancha. With over 20 years in the Algarve, we’ve built our reputation on quality workmanship, attention to detail and getting vehicles back on the road looking their best.
This is an opportunity to join an established, experienced body shop where quality matters. You’ll work across a variety of vehicles, preparing, painting and refinishing bodywork to achieve consistently high-quality results.
What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing vehicle surfaces and panels ready for painting
Mixing and matching paint colours accurately
Applying primers, base coats and clear coats
Spraying and refinishing vehicle panels to a high standard
Blending paintwork to achieve a seamless finish
Identifying and correcting imperfections in paintwork
Polishing and finishing completed paintwork where required
Working with professional spray equipment, materials and products
Ensuring every vehicle meets Auto Ruancha’s quality standards
Keeping your workspace clean, organised and safe
Working closely with the wider body shop team to keep jobs moving efficiently
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an experienced Vehicle Painter who takes genuine pride in achieving a great finish. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, skilled and has an excellent eye for colour and detail.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Previous professional experience in vehicle painting or automotive refinishing
Strong knowledge of paint preparation, spraying and finishing techniques
Experience with colour matching and paint mixing
Confidence using professional spray equipment
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work confidently and independently
A commitment to producing consistently high-quality work
Good time management and organisation
A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
